As a federal agency, the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) collects data on the state of the environment, surveys correlations and makes forecasts for the future, among other things. It uses this knowledge to advise the federal government, such as the Federal Ministry for the Environment. At the same time, it informs the public on environmental issues and puts environmental laws into practice.
On behalf of the Federal Environment Agency (UBA), VDI/VDE-IT conducts analyses and studies in the fields of environment and sustainability.
