Are the jobs advertised on your website up to date and are there deadlines for applying?
The jobs advertised on our website are always up to date and our aim is to fill them as quickly as possible. There are no closing dates. We terminate our job advertisements as soon as we have been able to fill the position.
How do I apply to VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH?
We prefer to receive applications online. Please use the button ‘Apply now online’ below each job offer. If you already have your application documents at hand, it takes three minutes to apply online.
Can I apply for several positions at the same time?
Ideally, you should apply for each position separately. Please submit a cover letter for each application. The first time you apply, our system stores your CV in your applicant profile for any further applications. If you are in a particular hurry, you can also e-mail email@example.com to tell us which positions you would like to be considered for.
What documents should I include with my application?
Please submit a CV in tabular form, a letter of motivation and certificates (training reports, job references, proof of academic performance, etc.).
To whom should I address my cover letter?
Your application may be considered by supervisors, corporate management and the recruiting team. So please address your cover letter to ‘Dear Sir or Madam’. If you would like to get a better idea of who we are, you can find more information in our Departments overview.
Can I change my application documents after I have uploaded them?
Once an application has been sent, the documents you have submitted cannot be changed. However, you can add documents at any time through the candidate login. If you would like to replace a document, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I need a new password.
If you have forgotten your login details, please use the ‘Request password’ function. A new password will then be sent automatically to your e-mail address.
Will I receive a confirmation e-mail after submitting my application?
As soon as we receive your application, we will send a confirmation of receipt to the e-mail address you have specified. If you do not receive an e-mail, please check the spam folder in your e-mail account. If there is no e-mail from us either, please contact us at email@example.com or call +49 30 3100780.
When can I expect feedback about my application?
We strive to complete the entire application process as quickly as possible. However, it is not possible to say exactly when you will hear back from us. If you have any questions about the progress of your application, please call +49 30 3100780 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I apply again if I have been rejected?
If you have been rejected, you can, of course, apply for another position at a later date.
I would like to withdraw my application.
If you would like to withdraw an application that you have already submitted, please send us a brief note to email@example.com.
How long will my application documents be stored?
Germany’s General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) requires us to retain your personal data for up to six months after a position has been filled. Once this period has passed, we will delete your data immediately.
Who has access to my application documents?
Data privacy is our highest priority. The data sent to us can only be accessed by individuals within VDI/VDE-IT who are involved in the application process.
I haven’t found a suitable position, but I am very interested in VDI/VDE-IT.
