In December 2016, VDI/VDE-IT assumed the project management for the Federal Ministry of Education and Research project “Digital Transformation in Education, Science and Research” in which, among others, measures from the federal government’s Digital Agenda are implemented.
The Federal Ministry of Education and Research project management “Digital Transformation in Education, Science and Research” implements measures regarded as integral part of the federal government’s Digital Agenda. Topics here are, for example, open access, digitalisation in education and digital research data management. Within the realm of the project management, the creation of structures for the “German Internet Institute” is advanced.
As project management agency, VDI-VDE-IT organisationally and analytically supports the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
