The study “Battery Cell Manufacturing Ecosystem in Europe” looks at the structures of knowledge transfer and value creation in Germany and Europe from a network perspective based on the analysis of publicly available information about research, value creation and strategic activities. It structures the ecosystem, provides an overview of relevant actor categories in the field of battery cell manufacturing along the value chain, shows the integration of the various actors in the ecosystem, identifies gaps in these structures and thus shows decision-makers from politics and industry initial starting points for the development of new value creation cooperations and for strategic activities to close the value chain.
