Since December 2013, the Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit) of VDI/VDE-IT evaluates the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy programme ELEKTRO POWER. The programme targets the promotion of new production technologies in the areas of battery power and light-weight construction. Sside from analysing the programme’s effects, the programme also focuses on classification in the context of different governmental measures in the field of electro mobility. This emphasis is directed at the realization of collaborative projects and the impact that a successful project implementation can have on businesses, scientific institutions as well as on the evolving value chain in electro mobility.
