RESKILLING is a European project that supports employees and companies in the mobility sector – i.e. passenger and freight transport – in the digital and technological transformation. The focus is on preparing for the introduction of connected, cooperative and automated mobility (CCAM).
The project pursues a strategic, inclusive approach that aims to empower people to actively participate in change. The goal is not only to respond to new requirements, but also to create new career opportunities and drive innovation in the mobility sector.
Core objectives of RESKILLING:
- Analysis of the social and economic impact of CCAM on the labour market
- Development of innovative business models for companies in the mobility sector
- Development of training programmes for the targeted development of new skills along the CCAM value chain
RESKILLING focuses on co-creation, social innovation and cooperation with all relevant stakeholders – from employees and companies to educational and research institutions.
VDI/VDE-IT coordinates the ‘Employment, Growth and Innovation’ work package and ensures the matching of mobility, social and educational innovations. It connects key players and strengthens their capacities to build social education ecosystems.
