VDI/VDE-IT, along with the CIMA Institute for Regional Economy GmbH, develops a systematisation of technology and application potentials of novel adaptive-collaborative autonomous systems in order to conduct a corresponding actor- and potential analysis as well as an assessment of spaces for economic opportunities in the Hannover Region. The analysis focuses on "new" and "intelligent" forms of automation as they manifest themselves in current developments of assistant systems, a sector of robotics increasingly influenced by principles of human-technology-interaction.
VDI/VDE-IT is responsible for the technological systematisation, develops models for cooperation and use of regional scientific and economic potential on the basis of case studies and analyses existing network structures and issue-area clusters.
