Under the coordination of the Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon), 18 partners from research and practice are cooperating in the European joint project "SECURE2" to develop career paths that offer equal opportunities and further develop the SECURE Research Career Framework (RCF) and Tenure Track-like Models developed in the predecessor project SECURE.
The aim of SECURE was to translate the new EU recommendations on talent recruitment and retention in research, innovation and entrepreneurship (C/2023/1640) into concrete measures and to test them with pilot organizations. "SECURE2" builds on the pilot results and pursues a more in-depth implementation and stronger transfer-oriented dissemination. For this objective, the number of implementation partners (universities and research institutes) was increased.
VDI/VDE-IT leads the work package “Policy briefs and RCF promotion” and coordinates the dissemination of the project results through position papers, stakeholder participation, an exploitation plan (transfer activities) and a final event.
