The StrategyWorkshop: Industry of the Future, an initiative by the Saxon Ministry of Economy, Labour and Transportation, illuminates the industrial, technological, competitive and social challenges facing the Saxon industry when looking ahead to 2030. Comprehensive digitalisation and its effects are one emphasis within the project. In a workshop process with inclusion of actors from industry, science, society and administration structures and main features of a Saxon industry strategy are developed, guiding steps extrapolated and project ideas created.
The Saxon Ministry of Economy, Labour and Transportation has commissioned VDI/VDE-IT to frame the StrategyWorkshop: Industry of the Future with regard to context and organisation. To this end, a branch office has been created which is responsible for implementing the project.
