Strong competition for skilled talents has started in Europe with the upscaling of battery production. To harness the full potential of the global labour market, more attention should be paid to diversity and inclusion to attract and retain talents.

In this edition of our Battery Live Talk, moderator Nikolas Oehl-Schalla, VDI/VDE-IT, and his guest Julia Reichel, Arvensis Search, will have a close look on talents and diversity within the global labour market based on self-conducted surveys. Additionally, based on the findings of a new study conducted by VDI/VDE-IT, Linda Arnold-Triangeli and her co-authors will highlight the current talent and diversity situation of the battery industry in Germany. Together with our guests, we will discuss the outcome of these current survey reports and analyses to shed light to current demand, untapped potential and need for action. The findings should enable companies in the battery ecosystem to comprehensively assess their own situation and extend strategies for employment while using the potential of diversity.

Join us to learn more about the recent findings and discuss with our experts how to attract talents for the future battery industry.

What will be addressed?

  • Data based status quo on talents and diversity in the battery industry (globally and with focus to Germany)
  • What can companies actually do to gain a more attractive position in the global labour market?
  • With a tight labour market, which groups of people can be further tapped?

Participation is free of charge.
