On behalf of the German Association of Technical and Scientific Societies (DVT), the Association of German Engineers (VDI) and the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE), we cordially invite you to the FEANI Annual Business Meeting 2022 in Berlin. We look forward to welcoming delegates from all FEANI members. In close collaboration with the FEANI General Secretary, we have elaborated an active programme for your visit. We sincerely hope that the combination of business meetings and social events during the three upcoming meetings will lead to a great progress of FEANI.
For our events we have chosen different locations in Berlin - a mixture of the present and the past.
On Thursday, 5th May, the meetings will take place at the GLS Campus, close to Hotel Oderberger. There are many other hotels conveniently located nearby (see below). Hotel Oderberger was originally built in 1898 as a public bathhouse in Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg. In 2016, the venerable building was opened as a hotel after extensive renovations.
On Friday, 6th May, the General Assembly as well as the Executive Board Meeting will take place at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities at the famous Gendarmenmarkt. Located in the historical centre of Berlin, the Academy has a three-hundred-year-old tradition of uniting outstanding scholars and scientists across national and disciplinary boundaries.
On Saturday, 7th May, our tour will take us to Potsdam, visiting the Palace Cecilienhof as well as the park of famous Sanssouci Palace.
