The state of Baden-Württemberg wants to develop into a leading region for biobased, circular economy. To this end, the Ministry for Nutrition, Rural Areas and Consumer Protection Baden-Württemberg has launched three funding guidelines to support regional agriculture and forestry, industry and commerce as well as research institutions in bringing R&D results from the laboratory into practical implementation. The programmes "BIPL BW-Investment", "BIPL BW-Innovation" and "Sustainable Bioeconomy as an Innovation Booster for Rural Areas" are intended to fund research and development projects and investment measures in the field of the bioeconomy in Baden-Württemberg.

VDI/VDE-IT was commissioned by the Minitstry with the project management for the technical, content-related and administrative handling of the three funding programmes. Our VDI/VDE-IT’s Stuttgart office and the Innovation + Cooperation department from Berlin work closely together to successfully implement the programmes.
