COSMOS is supporting the ‘Mobility.E Lighthouse’ initiative by the ECSEL JU (Electronic Components and Systems for European Leadership Joint Undertaking). The ECSEL JU is a public-private partnership launched by the EU Commission. Its goal is to promote research and development in the field of electronics. COSMOS encourages partnership and dialogue between the ‘Lighthouse Initiatives’, which support the development of electronic components and systems for mobility that is electric, automated and networked.
For this purpose, VDI/VDE-IT is coordinating an appropriate strategy development process. This involves checking that ongoing projects and existing strategies are consistent and compatible with one another. Furthermore, the facilitation of networking events and the provision of collaboration tools will strengthen networks and make it possible for new research topics to be identified and prioritised.
