The “go-cluster” programme is a cluster excellence measure by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The programme aims to create impulses for the continuous quality enhancement of cluster management organisation towards international cluster excellence, to increase the visibility of German cluster initiatives and to support the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in implementing cluster policy activities on federal and EU levels. Furthermore, the “Cluster Platform Germany”, a joint information portal by the BMWK and the Federal Ministry for Education and Research, is created and maintained.
VDI/VDE-IT manages and implements the programme.
