We support the Ministry of General and Vocational Education, Science, Research and Culture of Schleswig-Holstein in tasks at the interface of education, digitalisation, future technologies and the transfer and promotion of innovations from and to universities. Our work to date has included comprehensive, standardised data collection on the use of artificial intelligence in research and teaching at the state's universities, the organisation and support of a stakeholder process for the Science Council's report on university transfer, and the development of framework funding guidelines for transfer, digitalisation and innovation at universities. We are currently supporting the evaluation of the ‘Digital Learning Campus’ project, the interim evaluation of the ‘KI.SH’ transfer project, and preparatory work for the amendment of the Higher Education Act.
Our tasks range from analyses based on data collection, expert interviews and research to the preparation of well-founded decision-making bases for the further development and adaptation of funding programmes and legislation. In addition, we design, moderate and support stakeholder dialogues, workshops and events in order to develop viable policy recommendations and legally compliant funding guidelines together with all parties involved.
